The San Rafael Police Department has a 96 percent vaccination rate and 100 percent of Belvedere and Ross police department staff have been vaccinated, but Sausalito reports just 84 percent of its officers have confirmed they’ve been vaccinated (the other 16 percent declined to state their status), according to the report.

Vaccination rates among law enforcement officers in the Golden State over the summer were significantly lower than the public’s, The Guardian reports.

California’s prisons have among the state’s lowest rates, with one facility reporting a 16 percent vaccination rate, the report said.
