Well established Marin catering company is currently hiring for on call event staff Our kitchen is based in San Rafael and our events are throughout the Bay Area.
Servers: Applicants must have a basic knowledge of tableside etiquette, proper place setting, experience in tray service.
Bartenders: Applicants must be able to set-up, breakdown, and run a full bar independently for 100 guests. You must also be willing to work as a server.

Culinary Staff: Applicants must have a basic knowledge of food preparation, buffet service, plattering and plating for served meals. Have an awareness of safety and sanitation, and the ability to think on your feet. 1 year culinary experience preferred. Must be willing to work as a server occasionally.

All applicants must:
· Be willing to set up, tear down, and perform various duties including bussing tables, washing dishes, etc.
· Be dependable, motivated, and have a positive, professional attitude.
· Be available to work weekdays and weekends
· Be able to lift 30#
· Be team oriented and good at taking direction
· CA Food Handlers Card is required.
Pay is determined by experience. All new employees will participate in a trial period of no less than 3 events. Assuming positive evaluations new employees are immediately eligible for their first raise after the third event. Evaluations are given by one of the on-site event managers at the job site. We offer opportunity for promotion to individuals with the appropriate skills and aptitude. We prefer to promote from within our own staff.
