There's more than one home being foreclosed at Norris Canyon Estates, the luxurious gated community located off Norris Canyon Road where a man allegedly shot his property manager following an eviction notice and barricaded himself for several hours on Wednesday.
Tucked into the hills of San Ramon Valley, the usually quiet and private neighborhood has several homes being foreclosed, according to the online real estate database, Zillow.
The house where the scene occurred on Wednesday is located at 3497 Ashbourne Circle, where the suspect resided and ultimately barricaded himself inside.
The house has five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. It was last sold in 2004 for $1.3 million dollars.
Last year, 6,636 evictions were handled by the Contra Costa Civil Unit. This year through June, 2,766 evictions have been served across the county, according to Lee.
Some houses in the area sell close to $2 million, according to Zillow.
