San Ramon Man Arrested On Human Trafficking, Weapons Charges
A 22-year-old San Ramon man was arrested in South San Francisco on charges of pandering a woman and possessing an illegal firearm.
SAN RAMON, CA — A San Ramon man was arrested on suspicion of engaging in human trafficking in northern San Mateo County, according to the South San Francisco Police Department.
Jose Rafael Diaz, a 22-year-old convicted felon, was arrested in a South San Francisco hotel and arrested on charges of pandering a woman and being in possession of a concealed an unregistered firearm with a high-capacity magazine, the department said.
Diaz was arrested without incident and booked into San Mateo County Jail.

The arrest was part of a broader operation between multiple law enforcement agencies to help survivors of human trafficking and provide them with resources and services provided by advocates from Rape Trauma Services.
