Atmospheric River In San Ramon: What To Know
The rain wasn't as bad as predicted, but more is on the way.
SAN RAMON, CA — An atmospheric river has arrived in San Ramon Wednesday, bringing rains of up to 2-3 inches through Thursday. Wind gusts are expected to reach up to 40 mph.
The city is under a National Weather Service Flood Watch until 4 a.m. Friday, a High Wind Warning until 4 a.m. Thursday, and a Wind Advisory until 4 a.m. Friday. Residents are advised to take some time to remove leaves from their yard and around storm drains, put yard waste in the organics bin, avoid driving if possible, keep cars fueled, keep cell phones charged, have an emergency supply kit ready, secure items that can blow around, and keep garbage cans and cars at least one foot from the curb to avoid blocking water flow.

PG&E has not reported any major outages in the Tri-Valley Wednesday. There have not been any major storm-related incidents yet, according to spokesperson Simone Finney.
