California Moves Into 2nd Place Tie As Grizzlies Top Foothill, 11-3

Wednesday's 11-3 EBAL victory over Foothill was California's seventh win in eight games.

SAN RAMON, CA — Aiden Camberg drove in three runs, Nic Bronzini pitched five strong innings, and California moved into a second-place tie Wednesday with an 11-3 East Bay Athletic League win against Foothill.

Lucas Marlowe, Cade Hannula and Brady Wetzel each had two RBI for the Grizzlies (19-4, 9-3 EBAL) in their third straight win and seventh in eight games.

Bronzini (8-2) struck out six batters and gave up one run on five hits and two walks.

The Grizzlies led 4-1 going into the bottom of the fifth when they broke the game open.

Brendon Comeford and Jack Basser each had two hits for Foothill (19-4, 9-3), which owned sole possession of second place going into Wednesday.
