First Bishop Ranch Homes For Sale, Starting At $1.1M
City Village consists of 268 detached homes and 136 attached townhouses. 10K housing units are planned at Bishop Ranch in the coming decade.

SAN RAMON, CA —The first homes located inside Bishop Ranch are on the market, owner Sunset Development Company announced.
City Village, located less than a mile from City Center, will consist of a total of 404 homes, including 268 detached homes, and 136 attached townhouses. The development, constructed by San Ramon-based developer SummerHill Homes, will also consist of a two-acre public park, walking and bike trails, seating areas, and a community barbecue area.
Townhouses start at $1.1 million and detached homes start at $1.5 million, though nine townhouse units are priced as low as $151,400 to income-eligible applicants, who will be selected through a lottery. Applications to the Below-Market-Rate townhouses are due Oct. 27. Homes range from 1,176 square feet to 3,093 square feet, and feature a mix of amenities like private courtyards, two-car garages, outdoor patios, and private decks.

City Village is part of Sunset Development’s larger plan to transform Bishop Ranch into a $5 billion mixed-used, walkable neighborhood over the next decade. The plan includes up to 10,000 housing units, 850,000 square feet of new commercial space, and a 169-room hotel. Thirty percent of the plan is dedicated to open space, which will include parks, trails and gardens.
