Power Restored In San Ramon
Customers around the intersection of Crow Canyon and 680 lost power Monday morning.

SAN RAMON, CA — 770 customers have their power back in San Ramon as of 5:50 p.m. Monday, according to PG&E. An outage that started at 11 a.m. Monday centered around Purdue Avenue north of Crow Canyon Road and west of 680, and the areas between Fostoria Way and Crow Canyon Road east of 680.
In the wake of an aggressive atmospheric river, more than 143,201 customers were without power across the Bay Area as of 4 p.m. Monday due to heavy rains and winds. The North Bay remains the hardest hit, with 52,707 without power, according to Bay City News. Just 5,955 customers in the East Bay were without power as of 4 p.m.
In the Tri-Valley, just Danville, Alamo, and San Ramon were affected.

The city received two storm-related calls on Sunday, according city spokesperson Simone Finney. A tree was reported down at Albion and Dougherty, and a light pole was reported leaning onto the roadway at Blossom Ridge Lane. City crews shut off the power to the light pole and salvaged the light head, and cut up the tree. The city has also received four calls related to branches or trees.
Still more rain is expected Tuesday and Wednesday, though it is not predicted to be as intense, and the sun may peak through at points during both days. Winds are not predicted to go above 8 mph, according to Accuweather. The city is no longer under any National Weather Service alerts or watches.
