Meeting On The Orchards Bishop Ranch Scheduled Thursday
The San Ramon Architectural Review Board will host a public meeting on design elements of a proposed 368-home development in Bishop Ranch.

SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Architectural Review Board is holding a public meeting Thursday to review The Orchards, a major development proposed at the former Chevron office park site.
The 92-acre project includes 2,452 residential units spread across three districts, according to a staff report. Thursday's meeting focuses specifically on the Neighborhood District, which features 368 homes at the southern end of the site. The proposed homes fall into four categories: single-family homes, row homes, and attached townhomes. 15% of the homes predesignated as affordable housing.
The ARB will review site layout, architectural design, and landscaping.

This is the first ARB meeting on the project. The first two meetings were held in May, and focused on topics like circulation, open space, and the overall master plan.
The Board will provide comments and recommendations that will be forwarded to the Planning Commission, which is expected to review the project later in the summer. The San Ramon City Council is expected to make a final vote later this year.
