SAN RAMON, CA — Five new businesses — including food options, a credit union and hair salon — have opened or are coming soon to San Ramon's City Center Bishop Ranch Shopping Center.

Guests can grab creative takes on Indian street food from Curry Up Now, which opened a food truck in the city last year. Try dishes such as the tikka masala burrito or deconstructed samosas on the shopping center's second floor, next to Ramen Hiroshi, according to a statement from the shopping center.

Or maybe you're in the mood for something different. Dumpling Time, a casual Asian restaurant, signed a lease with City Center Bishop Ranch. Dumpling Time comes to San Ramon from the Omakase Restaurant Group, which owns Michelin-starred Omakase and Niku Steakhouse, according to the shopping center.

Got a sweet tooth? Check out the renowned Sprinkles Cupcakes and "Cupcake ATM" — essentially a vending machine — which is slated to open soon. Sprinkles also serves up cookies, brownies and other sweets.

Sprinkles is located in the community room of another just-opened business at the mall: Patelco Credit Union, according to the shopping center. Gone are the days of discussing your account in a cramped cubicle; members can meet with a credit union member over a cupcake.

Looking for a new hairdresser? PREP, a full-service hair salon, will open its fifth location in City Center Bishop Ranch, according to the shopping center.

The salon, which has a Danville location, recently signed a lease at City Center Bishop Ranch and will offer a space for birthday parties and prep parties. Makeup and nail services will also be available at events.
