SAN RAMON, CA — Seats are open on a number of San Ramon committees, commissions, and boards. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 21 at 5 p.m.

City Openings

- Architectural Review Board: 2 alternate members. Provides professional review of design improvements. Two-year term. Meets monthly. Must be a professional licensed architect.
- Library Advisory Committee: 2 alternate members. Makes recommendations to the Parks and Community Services Commission, Contra Costa Library officials and City Council on library programs, facilities, services, and more. Two-year term. Meets quarterly.
- Parks and Community Services Commission: 4 regular members. Provides ongoing input to the city on the provision and delivery of parks, recreation, and community services. Four-year term. Meets monthly.
- Planning Commission: 3 regular members. Advises City Council on growth and development and its relation to the General Plan. Four-year term. Meets bi-monthly.
- Senior Citizens Advisory Committee: 1 regular member, 1 alternate member. Advises the Parks and Community Services Commission on recreational, social, educational, and health services to the San Ramon Senior Center. Two-year term. Meets monthly.
County Openings
- Contra Costa County Advisory Council on Aging: San Ramon representative. Provides leadership and advocacy on behalf of senior citizens. Two-year term. Meets eight times a yer.
- Contra Costa County Transportation Authority Citizens Advisory Committee: San Ramon representative. Reviews transportation issues issues pertaining to the county and provides recommendations to the CCTA Board. Four-year term. Meets monthly.
- Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District Board of Trustees: San Ramon representative. Advises the board on public health services pertaining to pests to prevent the spread of disease. Serves a two or four-year term and meets bimonthly.
- County Connection Citizens Advisory Committee: San Ramon representative. Makes recommendations to the County Connection Board of Directors on issues and policies related to fixed-route and paratransit service. Two-year term. Meets monthly.
