San Ramon Hosts Free Pet Vaccination Clinic For Contra Costa Residents

Contra Costa Animal Services will host a free pop-up vaccination and microchip clinic in front of San Ramon City Hall.

SAN RAMON, CA — Contra Costa Animal Services is offering a free pet vaccination and microchip clinic in San Ramon on Sunday, May 18 at San Ramon City Hall. The clinic is open to all Contra Costa residents.

The event will include free rabies and DHPP vaccines, which offers protection against five serious canine diseases. It also includes free rabies and FVRCP vaccines for cats, which also protects against five serious feline diseases. Dogs and cats will also be eligible for free microchips.

Joybound People & Pets, a Walnut Creek-based organization that finds homes for dogs and cats from public animal shelters in addition to many other services, will offer free pet food and flea prevention while supplies last.

The clinic begins at 9 a.m. No appointments are necessary, but services will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
