San Ramon Little League Team Secures NorCal Championship
Canyon Creek Little League won big at the Little League Northern California Championship tournament.
SAN RAMON, CA — Canyon Creek Little League took home the regional title for 8 to 10-year-olds after going undefeated at the Little League Northern California Championship tournaments.
Canyon Creek Little League's 10-and-under team bested San Jose's Union Little League for the NorCal state championship title.
More than 250 little leagues across the region vied for the title, according to Union Little League. This year's championship tournaments were hosted by Gilroy Little League at Gilroy Sports Park.

"Boys, we are so proud of you and how well you represented yourselves and CCLL," Canyon Creek Little League wrote on its Facebook page. "Special thanks to all the coaches and parents, all the fans that traveled down to cheer them on!"
