San Ramon Opens Two More Sandbag Sites Ahead Of Incoming Storms
San Ramon suffered from major flooding during last weekend's storm with some neighborhoods requiring assistance to evacuate residents.
SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon police said sandbags are available Tuesday at two locations in the city ahead of another large storm forecast in the area.
The sandbags are available at Central Park at 12501 Alcosta Blvd. and at Athan Downs Park at 2975 Montevideo Drive.
"Another storm is on our way... City staff is working hard to replenish sandbags," San Ramon police wrote on Twitter. "Please be patient as public works continues to fill bags as fast as possible."

San Ramon suffered from major flooding during last weekend's storm. Some neighborhoods required first responders to evacuate residents. Part of Alcosta Boulevard near the Dublin border was closed for more than 24 hours between Saturday and Sunday.
