San Ramon PD Gets New K-9 Officer
A 2-year-old Belgian Malinois from Germany named Egon has joined the San Ramon Police Dept. following the loss of former K-9 cop Hector.

SAN RAMON, CA -- The San Ramon Police Dept. has welcomed a new officer into its ranks: a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois from Germany named Egon.
Egon is partnered with Officer Tyrovolas; the pair began a month-long training on Monday, April 1.

Egon joins the SRPD following the loss of former police dog Hector, who had to be put down in December following his losing fight against an aggressive form of cancer.
