San Ramon's City Center At Bishop Ranch Adds New Businesses
Three new businesses will open in the shopping center.
SAN RAMON, CA —City Center at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon is welcoming three new businesses to the shopping center this month.
Marugame Udon will open March 9. The restaurant is known for its Japanese Sanuki-style udon and tempura made and served in front of the guests.
“Marugame has built an incredible fanbase in the Bay Area over the years and San Ramon was our next natural step as we continue to expand,” Alonzo Cudd, chief marketing officer at Marugame, said in a news release.

The 3,539 square-foot-restaurant is the first opening in 2022 for the brand and the first ever in San Ramon. It will be located next to Boba Guys, and plans on a grand opening celebration starting at 11:30 a.m.
“We’re making a splash at City Center that we know the foodie community will appreciate with our beloved noodles and pairing it with a vibrant atmosphere that will truly resonate with everyone," Cudd said in a statement.

Sprinkles opened earlier this month, offering fresh cupcakes, cookies, brownies, layered cakes, chocolates and coffee. The bakery has 30 locations nationwide and the San Ramon location is the 10th in California.
The 1,200 square-foot-shop shares a community room with Patelco Credit Union.
“We are very proud to open our first San Ramon bakery at City Center and of our partnership with the wonderful folks at Patelco as it is unlike any other that Sprinkles has held before,” Dan Mesches, president and chief executive officer at Sprinkles, said in a statement.
On the second floor of City Center, PREP is now open. The fifth location in the Bay Area, the full-service studio offers hair cuts, colors and styling along with event space.
"City Center Bishop Ranch, with its diverse group of class-leading tenants, provides us the perfect setting to showcase our craft in our fun, yet sophisticated salon," Lacey Morf, president at PREP said in a statement.
The new businesses align with the City Center's goal to bring the finest in Bay Area favorites and national brands to San Ramon.
“Marugmae, Sprinkles and PREP choosing City Center to make their San Ramon debut speaks to the standard of esteemed partnerships we’re building to create the ultimate cultural core of the city," Alexander Mehran Jr., president and chief executive officer at Sunset Development Company, said in a statement.
