Second Arrest Made in San Ramon Carjacking Case: Police

Police investigators arrested a second person for her alleged involvement in a carjacking last Saturday.

SAN RAMON, CA- A second arrest has been made in connection with a San Ramon carjacking last week, police officials confirmed.

According to a post on the San Ramon Police Facebook page, detectives arrested Nava Simon, 21, on Tuesday for her alleged involvement in the carjacking incident that came to a dramatic end in the Safeway parking lot on Bollinger Canyon early last Saturday morning.

Paul Lodestein, 20, a transient of Fairfield and Hayward, was arrested shortly after the duo had allegedly stolen a vehicle at gunpoint.

Simon was arrested at her San Ramon home and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility, according to officials. Police said Simon and Lodestein were charged for robbery and carjacking, being held on $150,000 bail.
