Wildfire Burns Near San Ramon Apartment Complex: Pulsepoint App
A small wildfire broke out Saturday behind the Deer Creek Apartments in San Ramon.
SAN RAMON, CA — A brush fire burned about an acre near an apartment complex between Dougherty Road and Bollinger Canyon Road Saturday, according to the Pulsepoint app and video footage.
The fire broke out in the parking lot of the Deer Creek Apartments, a senior living community, at 6: 19 p.m. Saturday, according to Pulsepoint. Video footageuploaded to YouTube shows heavy smoke in the field behind the apartment complex, and a robust fire engine response. .
Fourteen engines were assigned to the fire, including helicopters that dropped water and other firefighting materials, according to Pulsepoint and the video.
