• Valley Fair mall shooting: Hearing delayed for adults charged as accessories (mercurynews.com) — A Santa Clara County judge has delayed until January a key hearing for three adults accused of helping a teen flee the Black Friday shooting at Westfield Valley Fair, which straddles San Jose and Santa Clara jurisdiction. None of the adults are currently jailed, but one remains on home detention as prosecutors prepare their case and the teen suspect’s potential transfer to adult court remains undecided.
