3 Badly Hurt In Santa Monica Crash
Three people were seriously hurt after a driver lost control of a vehicle and slammed into several objects and a building in Santa Monica.
SANTA MONICA, CA — Three people were seriously hurt Sunday after a driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, hit three parking meters, a street light pole, two trees, a fire hydrant and eventually a building in Santa Monica, police said.
The crash took place about 2:45 a.m. at 12th Street and Pico Boulevard, Santa Monica Police Capt. Eric Himmler said.
Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to get the three injured people out of the vehicle, Himmler said. All three were taken to a trauma center for treatment of their injuries.
