71-Year-Old Man Has Been Missing From Santa Monica For 3 Weeks: CHP

Authorities are asking for the public's help finding a man who was last seen in Santa Monica in July.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a 71-year-old man who was last seen in Santa Monica.

The California Highway Patrol on Thursday issued a Silver Alert for Harold Rappleyea, who was last seen at around 6 p.m. July 24 near Olympic Drive and 4th Street.

Rappleyea is described as a 6-foot-2-inch tall man weighing 200 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans.
