SANTA MONICA, CA — An ocean water use advisory was issued for waters near the Santa Monica Pier, health officials announced Friday night.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health extended its warning for multiple beaches.

"The warning has been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested," according to public health officials.
