Best-Selling L.A. Author to Discuss Sex and the Talmud at The Braid in Santa Monica
Maggie Anton's latest book provides a new perspective on what the Talmudic sages have to say about the most intimate of human experiences.

SANTA MONICA, CA — A popular Los Angeles author will discuss her latest book focusing on sex and the Talmud at the Jewish Women's Theatre in Santa Monica this weekend.
Maggie Anton’s latest book, "50 Shades of Talmud: What the First Rabbis Had to Say about You Know What," mixes Talmudic discussions with cartoons and observations by both serious and comedic thinkers, to provide a new perspective on what the Talmudic sages have to say about the most intimate of human experiences.
“I knew about “be fruitful and multiply,” Jewish Women’s Theatre artistic director Ronda Spinak said. “But I never imagined the lengths the first rabbis went to tell young Jewish men and women just how to be fruitful and multiply.”
