Boy Abducted by Biological Mother Reunited with Grandmother
The boy's grandmother, who lives in Santa Monica, called police when her daughter cut off communication after an overnight visit.

A woman was behind bars Monday on suspicion of abducting her biological son and taking him to Florida.
Adriana Joriel Johns, who lost custody of her 8-year-old son in December 2012, is accused of abducting him on March 6. Johns had been allowed to keep her son overnight, but instead of taking him to school, she fled to Florida, according to Sgt. Richard Lewis of the Santa Monica Police Department.
The boy's grandmother, who has custody and lives in Santa Monica, called police when her daughter cut off communication.
Investigators were able to track the mother and son to Clermont, Florida. Deputies from the Lake County Sheriff's Department arrested Johns and found the boy in good health on March 22, Lewis said.

Two days later the youngster was reunited with his grandmother, who flew to Florida, according to the sergeant.
Johns was brought back to Santa Monica on April 5, where she was booked on charges of child abduction and an outstanding burglary warrant. She is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.
