Celebrity sightings are such a common occurrence that the average Santa Monica citizen won't even bat an eye when they spot one, according to city tourism officials. This is the reason why big stars are making appearances in the city more than ever, according to the Santa Monica Lookout.

"They can be a little more off the radar," Jackie Alvarez of Santa Monica Travel and Tourism told the Lookout.

And all this celebrity sightings are good for business -- it's making Santa Monica an international destination.
