Country Crooners, the Chapin Sisters, at McCabe's Saturday Night
Tickets to hear the folksy duo at the Santa Monica guitar shop are $15.
The Chapin Sisters, Lily and Abigail, are bringing their banjo and acoustic guitar, and their gentle, harmonious country crooning, to McCabe's Guitar Shop Saturday night.
Tickets, which are $15, are still available for the 8 p.m. show.
It will be a folksy weekend at the Santa Monica venue on Pico Boulevard. Susie Glaze and the Hilonesome Band, which plays a blend of mountain folk and new bluegrass, performs 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets (also $15) are still available for that show, too.

The Chapins' soft and sort-of-sad music has been labeled a mix of "folk noir" and "neo-prarie." In 2010, when they were still a trio with their third sister Jessica Craven, they performed with and opened for Zooey Deschanel's band, She & Him.
The long, blond-haired duo comes from a long line of musical talent. Their father is three-time Grammy Award winner Tom Chapin; their uncle is Harry Chapin, who wrote "Cat's in the Cradle;" and their uncle, Jim Chapin, was a well-known jazz drummer.
