Fitoor Offers Standout Indian Classics, Refined Fusion Cuisine For Dine LA

SANTA MONICA, CA — Fitoor Santa Monica is among the 480 eateries participating in Dine LA, which runs through Aug. 8.

The Indian restaurant is offering a three-course lunch menu for $45, which includes a choice of stater, small plate and entree. The dinner menu is $65 and comes with a choice of small plate, entree, and dessert.

Chef Surya Kumar answered Patch's questions about what makes Fitoor a good pick for Dine LA:

Q: What are a few standout dishes on the Dine LA menus and how they might be different or unique compared to what people might be familiar with when it comes to Indian cuisine?

Yes, there are a few standout dishes on our Dine LA menu that offer a fresh take on traditional Indian cuisine. One of our exciting new additions is Pyaz ki Kachori, which is a beloved Indian street food that we’ve elevated by pairing it with raw jackfruit and aloo rasa. It brings a bold, nostalgic flavor in a refined, modern form.

Another highlight is our Artichoke Saag. While saag is traditionally made with mustard greens or spinach, we’ve used a variety of seasonal greens along with artichoke, an international ingredient not typically found in Indian cuisine. It’s not only unique in flavor but also allergen-friendly and nutritious, making it a standout fusion dish that bridges Indian tradition with a global twist.
