Hot Dog On A Stick Returns To Muscle Beach

SANTA MONICA, CA — Muscle Beach staple Hot Dog On A Stick made its triumphant return after getting a facelift.

The greasy hot dog spot reopened Thursday after a number of renovations to make the space bigger and upgrade amenities like air conditioning.

The Santa Monica location was open for 75 years before its renovation, and the brand worked hard to maintain its nostalgic feel during renovations, according to a news release from Hot Dog on a Stick.

"We are thrilled to officially open our doors again to our loyal fans," said Jenn Johnston, President of FAT Brands' Quick-Service Division. "Hot Dog on a Stick Muscle Beach put us on the map and was key in defining our overall brand experience, which has made us so special for all these years. While guests will take notice of our new look, we worked diligently to ensure the location didn't lose it's nostalgia."

The Santa Monica location will host a grand opening in April 2023, the 77th anniversary of the spot. It was the chain's first location, and now is one of 50 Hot Dog on a Stick spots in the country.
