Killer At Large In Santa Monica Homicide: Police
Police have launched a homicide investigation after finding a man dead in Santa Monica, authorities said Friday.

SANTA MONICA, CA — A man with an apparent stab wound was found dead in downtown Santa Monica, police said Friday, and authorities are searching for the person responsible.
Police found the man's body in an alley near 6th Street and California Avenue, just south of Reed Park. The man, believed to be homeless, was found with what police believe is a stab wound. Authorities are investigating the incident as a homicide, the Santa Monica Police Department said Friday morning.
No suspect is in custody and police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating the person or people responsible for the stabbing.

"We recognize that our community has recently been impacted by several violent crimes and understand the heightened concern these incidents cause. We want to reassure the community that the safety and well-being of our residents remain our highest priorities. Our team is working diligently to identify the suspect(s), and a strong police presence will remain in the area as the investigation continues," police said.
