Man in Custody After Police Standoff
Police say a 36-year-old man who allegedly threatened to kill his parents barricaded himself inside his Stanford home.

Police swarmed a home in the 1200 block of Stanford Street Tuesday afternoon in a standoff with 36-year-old man who allegedly threatened to kill his parents.
The suspect, identified by police as Drew Larson, hung out of a window and screamed that he was armed and barricaded inside, police said.
The 30-minute confrontation ended with no injuries and before SWAT and crisis negotiators had time to respond. No weapons were found inside the house, according to a Santa Monica Police Department spokesman.
