Music Mondays & Taco Tuesdays Kick Off At Tallula’s In Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CA — Tallula’s, a Mexican restaurant across from the beach in Santa Monica, has amped up work-week dining with the launch of Music Mondays and Taco Tuesdays.

On Mondays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., local musicians will play acoustic, Spanish guitar on the outdoor patio.

And on Taco Tuesdays, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., patrons can enjoy happy hour pricing on snacks, drinks and all tacos — including such Tuesday-only specials as jalapeño miso-glazed rock cod with guacamole, spicy slaw and cilantro, and carnitas with white onion, salsa roja and cilantro.

Tallula's opened in 2017 in the former Marix Tex Mex location, as part of the Rustic Canyon Family restaurant group.

On the Mexican-inspired menu, from Executive Chef Juan Robles, are such dishes as chicken tinga tostada, oysters on the half shell, enchiladas suizas, grass-fed hanger steak, nachos “sencillo,” flan, churros and an array of small plates and tacos.

Tallula's is at 118 Entrada Drive, Santa Monica.
