Ocean Water Use Warning Issued For Santa Monica, LA Beaches
Increased bacteria means residents should avoid swimming in these five L.A. County beaches, including the beach at Santa Monica Pier.

SANTA MONICA, CA - Once again, beachgoers on Monday were advised to avoid swimming at a number of Los Angeles County beaches, including the beach at the Santa Monica Pier.
The warning was a result of increased bacteria levels in the water after county testing. Unsafe bacteria levels means residents should avoid swimming, surfing and playing in the water.
Bacteria warnings were also issued for Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu, Hermosa Beach Pier, Santa Monica Pier and Mother’s Beach in Marina Del Rey.
