Ocean Water Use Warning Underway For Santa Monica
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health extended its warning Monday night for waters near the Santa Monica Pier.

SANTA MONICA, CA — An ocean water use warning was extended Monday night near the Santa Monica Pier and Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health officials announced.
"The warning has been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested," public health officials said.
As of Monday night, people are still urged to be careful before playing or swimming in the ocean near Mother's Beach and the Santa Monica Pier.
