The Santa Monica Fire Department is reporting downed wire lines in the 200 block of 21st Street on Monday afternoon.The lines were reported being down at around 4:30 p.m. The Department advises residents to avoid the area for the time being.A representative for Southern California Edison said that there are no service disruptions in the area and crews are on the scene evaluating the situation.SCE received reports of "Trees on the wires," SCE spokeswoman Susan Cox said. "It's safe and there are no service disruptions."SMFD said delays and hazards are possible in the area.Santa Monica and the rest of Los Angeles County were battered by high winds Monday from a storm front approaching the area.
