Safe Stolen From Santa Monica Home, 2 Suspects Arrested
Two suspects were arrested in connection to a home robbery in Santa Monica on Tuesday, according to the Santa Monica Police Department.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Two suspects were arrested in connection to a home robbery in Santa Monica on Tuesday, according to the Santa Monica Police Department.
Police received a report of a robbery at about 12:45 p.m. in the 500 block of 9th Street. Witnesses told police that they saw a "suspicious vehicle" driving away from the neighborhood.
Authorities said officers in the area were able to find a matching vehicle leaving the same area while another team of officers confirmed the burglary happened. SMPD pulled the vehicle over and arrested both of the occupants inside.

Christofer Martinez Infante, 23, and Jeffrey Owen Wright, 22, were arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and are being held without bail, police said.
Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and said they located a safe that belonged to the resident as well as other items of evidence.
