Samohi Girls' Surf Team Returns After Haitus

Santa Monica High School has a girls' surfing team for the first time in 15 years, and they are already shredding waves and the competition in Southern California.

The team. includes Audrey Benacerraf, Ines Benomar, Natalie Hubbard, Chloe Kleinman, Bebe Lari and Maddie Lomonaco, according to the L.A. Times.

The newspaper reported the team took first place in long boarding and short boarding in the Western Surfing Association competition. The girls' were up against 10 other Los Angeles and Santa Barbara schools.
