Santa Monica Among Cities That Could Disappear Due to Global Warming?

The Huffington Post has produced a list of the top 14 cities that may be little more than a distant memory next century.

According to the National Research Center, Los Angeles Coastal towns including Santa Monica, Venice and Long Beach could be little more than a distant memory next century thanks to global warming, report The Huffington Post.

With rising sea levels and climate change, The Huffington Post has compiled its Top 14 cities that could simply disappear within the next 100 years and Los Angeles’ Santa Monica, Venice and Long Beach are ranked 10th on the list.

The Huffington Post states, “According to a report released by the National Research Council, Southern California is in for quite the climate change fiasco. Acres of beautiful coastline will be engulfed by rising seas, including Long Beach, Venice and Santa Monica.”
