Santa Monica Burglar Caught With Burglary Tools In San Marino
A man on the lam after a burglary in Santa Monica was caught in San Marino with burglary tools, police said.
SANTA MONICA, CA — A man wanted for a Santa Monica burglary was arrested after being caught trespassing on a residential property in San Marino, police said Friday.
The man, who has not been publicly identified, had two active warrants for burglary issued by the Santa Monica and Pasadena police departments at the time of his arrest, according to the San Marino Police Department.
Police responded to an emergency call at the 1900 block of South Oak Knoll Avenue in San Marino at around 4:35 a.m. Nov. 29; the caller reported a man was trespassing on a residential property, police said.

"Officers arrived on scene and were provided security camera video of the subject," police said in a statement. "A responding officer found a male subject matching the description from the security camera footage in the area of Huntington Drive and Almansor Street in Alhambra."
The man was in possession of a concealed loaded gun, an extra loaded magazine and burglary tools. He was previously convicted of a felony and prohibited from possessing a firearm, police said.
