Santa Monica Ferris Wheel Will Be Lit Up For Rams Vs. Chargers Game
Los Angeles' football teams will face off this weekend, and the Pacific Wheel will be specially lit up to mark the occasion.

SANTA MONICA, CA — As Los Angeles' football teams face off in a preseason game Sunday, the Ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier will be lit up with the Rams and Chargers colors to help mark the occasion.
The 90-foot wheel at the pier's Pacific Park will be lit up with the special display from sunset (7:38 p.m.) to midnight, according to the park.
The contest between the Rams and Chargers will take place at SoFi Stadium at 4:05 p.m. and will be broadcast on ABC and CBS.

The Ferris wheel, known as the Pacific Wheel, features 174,000 LED lights, which are mounted on the wheel's 40 spokes, two hubs and other parts of the structure. That all helps create 16.7 million color value combinations.
The wheel's special display will be streamed live on Pacific Park's website.
