Santa Monica Man Convicted of Soliciting Prostitution in San Bernardino

SANTA MONICA, CA — A Santa Monica man was convicted of soliciting prostitution in San Bernardino, the San Bernardino District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday.

The office decided to release the photos of the convicted johns in an effort to reduce the demand for victims of human trafficking, according to a press release.

Frank Juarez, 43, was convicted on May 25, 2016 of soliciting and was sentenced to 10 days in jail and three years of probation, according to court records.

The photo of Juarez and other convicted johns will be posted on Stop-the-John Project's website for one year, as part of the effort to stop human trafficking.
