Santa Monica Sunsets Before And After The I Do's: Photos Of The Day

SANTA MONICA, CA — Patch reader Melinda Pressler took two photos of the sunset Friday night, Oct. 11, at the beach in Santa Monica.

The first one (shown above) was right before her niece walked down the aisle.

"I thought it was a serene, contemplative moment," Melinda told Patch.

The second (shown below) was moments later.

"It shows the last of the sun’s brilliance before setting and the I do’s," Melinda said, explaining that she never takes photos during a wedding ceremony.
