SANTA MONICA, CA — A search continued Friday in the ocean near the Santa Monica Pier for a swimmer who was reported missing.
The search involved personnel from the U.S. Coast Guard, according to a representative of the agency.
A friend reported to a lifeguard tower about 10 p.m. Wednesday that the swimmer went missing, according to media reports.
