'Stranger Things' Pop-Up Will Turn Santa Monica Pier Upside Down
The pier will be transformed into a Hawkins, Indiana fair — with carnival games and The Curiosity House (Demogorgons included).

SANTA MONICA, CA — Beware of the Demogorgons — next weekend, a Stranger Things pop-up is coming to the Santa Monica Pier and turning it "Upside Down."
From Saturday, June 29 to Sunday, June 30, the Netflix series will celebrate the new season of Stranger Things with a fair at Pacific Park. The pop-up will include carnival games, a slime dunk tank, ice cream and The Curiosity House, featuring the scream-inducing Demogorgon creatures to transport attendees to the "Upside Down" of Hawkins, Indiana, Time Out reported.
The fair will also feature performances from Hawkins High School cheerleaders, 80s cover bands, magicians, and food and eating contests, according to NBC Los Angeles. Pacific Park's Ferris Wheel will transform into the Hawkins Wheel, and the Playland Arcade will be the Palace Arcade for the weekend.
