Summer Concerts Return To Santa Monica Pier
The new Twilight on the Pier, formerly known as the Twilight Concert Series, will start in August.
SANTA MONICA, CA — The Santa Monica Pier concert series is returning with six Wednesdays of music by the beach. There will be three stages with various areas and activations to explore, LA Magazine reported.
"Back in the day, people used to bring lawn chairs and park themselves in front of the main stage," Negin Singh, Executive Director of the Santa Monica Pier Corporation, told the magazine. "It’s way better if you are able to catch all three stages doing their thing."
The stages include a main stage for live music, a second stage for dance-oriented acts and a third area for comedy, which is for those ages 21 and up, the Santa Monica Daily Press reported.
