Woman Struck, Killed By Vehicle On 10 Freeway In Santa Monica
A woman was struck and killed on a 10 Freeway onramp in Santa Monica late Sunday night, the California Highway Patrol reported.
SANTA MONICA, CA — A woman was struck by a vehicle and killed late Sunday on a Santa Monica (10) Freeway onramp in Santa Monica, officials said.
The fatality happened about 10:33 p.m. Sunday at the Cloverfield Boulevard onramp to the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
People saw the woman stumbling in the area and appeared disoriented near the 2100 block of Delaware Avenue, the Santa Monica Police Department told the CHP. She wandered away and walked down the onramp before she was hit by a vehicle.

Her name and age were not immediately available pending notification of family.
A SigAlert was issued at 10:55 p.m. shutting down the area and onramp, which was reopened about 2 a.m.
