Assemblyman Jones (R-Santee), in conjunction with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) will host a town hall meeting regarding the State Responsibility Area Fire Fee on Thursday, April 25th. This controversial fee has disproportionately affected rural residents, and there are many inequitable issues related to this, including a neighborhood in El Cajon where the State Responsibility Area (SRA) lines hop-scotch over homes. This is a community event, and those affected by the fee are welcome to attend to get more information and get questions answered.
