Groundbreaking for New Lakeside Skate Park is Wednesday

WHAT: A long-awaited skate park is becoming a reality in Lakeside. County officials and other dignitaries will break ground at Lindo Lake County Park for a skateboard park that will measure more than 16,000 square feet.

WHY:  The County’s first skate park construction project will pave the way for local skateboarders to hone their craft in a clean and safe environment without endangering other people or damaging property. The target date for completion is spring 2014.
