An East County motorist led California Highway Patrol officers on a lengthy pursuit that ended in the suspect's arrest early Thursday, authorities said.
The pursuit began at 2 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 8 and spilled onto Highway 67 before ending in the 8700 block of Graves Avenue in Santee, according to the CHP. The driver was arrested without further incident.
