Trout Season Is Coming To Santee Lakes
Santee Lakes will be stocked with 3,500 pounds of trout for the two-day Trout Opener.
SANTEE, CA — Trout season is coming to Santee Lakes.
Santee Lakes will be stocked with 3,500 pounds of trout for the two-day Trout Opener.
Lakes 2, 3 and 4 will be closed Oct. 31 through Nov. 1 in preparation for Trout Opening Weekend. Lake 7 will remain open to campers only.

The event is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 2-3 at Santee Lakes.
Gate entrance is $7 per car. Permits can be purchased in advance at the General Store. Permits cost $10 for adults and $6 for juniors and seniors. A second pole stamp is $4.
