Rte. 9 Closed Due To Mudslide
The road is closed in both directions between Sanborn and Redwood Gulch roads near Saratoga by debris flow, Caltrans said.

SARATOGA, CA — A mudslide is blocking a stretch of State Route 9 near Saratoga on Monday afternoon, according to Caltrans.
The road is closed in both directions between Sanborn and Redwood Gulch roads near Saratoga by debris flow from an unstable hillside, Caltrans said in an advisory shortly after 3 p.m.
The weekend's stormy weather caused debris from the hillside to wash onto the highway.
The road, known as Big Basin Way, will be closed until at least Wednesday, when Caltrans will assess whether it's safe to open the road.
